Jack Copp, 56, of Pepper Mill Road, Chuckey, the South Central community, died Sunday morning at Johnson City Medical Center.

Mr. Copp was a member of Casi Full Gospel Church.
He was a professional musician, a member of the Chessmen Band.

The family said that he had been a dedicated musician since his junior year of high school. They said that he was known for his many talents in performing for various audiences across the country and touching the lives of many people.

Survivors include a daughter: Penny Copp of the South Central community; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Charlie and Vickie Copp and Tommy Copp, all of Sevierville; his sister: Betty Jean Snapp of South Central; his fianceé: Nancy Jane Roberts of Greeneville; and a special aunt: Ruth Scalf, and a special uncle: C.G. Jones, both of South Central.

He was a son of the late Tom and Cora Jones Copp and was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Beth Copp.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Neal McGill, Dr. Jim Fields, and Ross Bailey will officiate.

Family and friends will meet at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning to go in procession to Liberty Cemetery for a graveside service at 11 o'clock.

Active pallbearers will be Richard McDowell, Kelly McDowell, Rodney C. Bowers, W.C. Wilhoit, Jim Hicks, Jerry Laws, Russell Moore, Pete Brown, and Bob Rohrer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Stanley Vermillion, Dr. Clarence Spannuth, Dr. Clifford Wiegand, Dr. Leslie Panus, Dr. Tony Haley, the staff of Dialysis Center of Greeneville, and Bill Nelms.
