Red Lion - Barbara J.(Grove) Greathouse,46, died at 8:05p.m.,Saturday,October 11,2003 at the Hershey Medical Center.
Barbara worked at McDonald's and as a coat checker for Meadowbrook and York Valley Inn. She also volunteered at the Collinsville Library and was a member of the York County Fiddlers Ladies Auxillary.
She was born on July 3, 1957 in York and was the daughter of June R.Grove of Brogue and Chester L. Grove,Jr. and stepmother, Treva M. Grove of Felton.
Besides her parents, she is survived by one son, Jacob A. Greathouse of Ferndale,Md.;two brothers, Michael L. Grove of Newport,Tenn. and Daniel L. Grove of Dover; a stepsister,Donna Senft of York;several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, David A.Grove who died in 1972.
Viewings will be 6-8p.m. Wednesday and 9 to 10a.m. Thursday both at the Burg Funeral Home,Inc.,134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. The service will be 10a.m.Thursday,at the funeral home with Rev. Judi A. Dunkelberger-Smith,pastor of Bethany UMC in Felton,officiating. Burial will be in Felton Trinity Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Collinsville Library,2632 Delta Rd..Brogue,Pa 17309
