Roy E. "Ebbie" May 61 of Broadway St in Coalton died Thursday Feb. 13, 1997 at the Oak Hill Community Medical Center. Born Aug. 20, 1935 in Jackson he was the son of the late Roy and Zelma Jaynes May. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Loudermilk May on Feb. 29 1995. Mr. May was a 40 year employee of Martin Block in Jackson and a member of the Jackson Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his son Sheldon May of Jackson, step-son Robert Morgan of Marion, daughters Teresa Ross of Jackson and Brenda Barnett of Jackson; brothers the Rev. Glade May of Groveport, and John May of Chillicothe; sisters Carol Parry of Virginia Beach Va. and Bonna MeGee of Columbus; and eight grandchildren. Calling hours will be held Saturday Feb. 15 from 2-9pm at the Eisnaugle-Lewis Funneral Home. Funeral services will be held Sunday Feb. 16 at 2pm with the Rev. Mike Percell and the rev. Olan Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Coalton Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
