As a boy in New York, Mr. Dysinger enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and the high school track team. After graduation, he obtained a job as a circulation manager with the Adirondack Enterprise, a local newspaper.
He served in the Marine Corps from 1935-1939. His airline career was launched by Eastern Airlines as a ground mechanic for 32 cents an hour. Pan American Airways hired Dutch in 1940. He worked as a flight engineer for 33 years.
After retirement, he returned to the activities of his youth. He became an avid fisherman and served as a helper at Stevens Creek County Park. At home, he enjoyed a very large library on flight history, a lifelong hobby.
Mr. Dysinger is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Pat Jones and Lin Dysinger; sister, Marguerite Reich; son-in-law, Ed Jones; and two grandchildren, Jason and Kimberly Jones.
