Albert Joseph Adams 9/1/1923 to 2/28/2011 Albert Joseph Adams of Buckley passed away of lymphatic cancer on Feb. 28, 2011. He was 87. Al was born on September 1, 1923 in Centralia, Washington and married Helen Morgan on December 20, 1946 in Port Orchard. Al worked for Puget Power Sound and Light, retiring after 33 years. After retiring, he moved to Buckley and wintered in Yuma, Arizona. In addition to his wife, Al is survived by son Robert Adams (Beverly), daughters Joanne Roth (Alan), Colleen Wilson (Rocky), Jeanne Lematta (Steve), daughter-in-law Bree Walker, 12 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. His son, James, preceded him in death. A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday March 18, 2011, at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St. in Kent, WA. Celebration of life to follow at Meridian Valley Country Club, 24830 136th Ave SE, Kent, WA.
