Elmer McGee
MISSOULA — Elmer C. "Jas" McGee, 76, of Missoula, died of cancer Saturday, Feb. 13, at St. Patrick Hospital. He was born Feb. 16, 1911, in Missoula to Charles and Lena McGee. He worked at Pew Construction as a carpenter, retiring in 1974. He also worked at the Fort Peck Dam through to its completion and at the Bremerton, Wash., shipyards. Mr. McGee was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local No. 28. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, prospecting and gardening.
Preceding him in death were two brothers, Harold and Buck. Survivors include his wife, Nora, Missoula and two sons.
