Pembroke - Kerry Allen Greene, 34, died Saturday at Memorial Medical Center after a short illness. The Bryan County native was a graduate of Georgia Southern College, where he received bachelor's and master's degrees. He attended the University of Georgia, where he taught shile working on his doctor's degree and attended Andrew College in Cuthbert, where he was a professor of English for three years. For the past two years he taught at South Florida Community College in Avon Park, Fla.

Surviving are his parents, Seaborn and Ouida Greene of Pembroke; a brother, Randall Lee Greene of Pembroke; two nieces and a nephew.

Funeral: 3 p.m. Monday at Morrison Funeral Home, burial in North Side Cemetery.
