Ann Cudd Mittag Cannon, 81, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011, at the Regional Hospice Home. She was a daughter of the late Jim Eldridge and Lillie Anders Cudd and widow of Robert A. Cannon and her first husband, Morris "Perd" Mittag.
Mrs. Cannon was a life-long resident of Spartanburg, a member of Glendale Baptist Church, retired as a Sales Clerk from Roses Department Store, and an avid gardener - always whistling as she worked. She was a private person who always worked hard and described by friends as a beautiful person inside and out. She loved her family and friends and was a very caring person to both.
She is survived by daughters, Robin L. Meyers and husband, Gus, of Boiling Springs and Cheryl Mittag and husband, Steve Prince, of Navarre, FL; a sister, Helen C. Corn of Spartanburg; two grandsons, Justin Buckland and wife, Lauren, of Boiling Springs and Cody Mittag of Roebuck; two step-granddaughters, Meghan and Sarah Fowler. She was predeceased by a son, Randy Mittag; a brother, Jimmy Cudd; and a sister, Emma Lou O'Sullivan.
Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 3, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. Ralph Jett.
