Lydia Egolf was born in Fairfield county, Ohio, August 11, 1827. She went with her parents to Whitley county, Indiana, when the deceased was about eight years of age. May 18, 1848, she was married to Henry Bressler. In the Spring of 1887 they went to Portland, Oregon, where they lived five years.
