Major League Baseball Player. He was an outfielder making his debut for the Cleveland Spiders on September 14, 1898. For eight seasons, he played with the Cleveland Spiders (1898), St. Louis Cardinals (1899-1901) and the St. Louis Browns (1902-04, 1908). He concluded his career with a record of 914 hits, 468 runs scored, 16 home runs, 342 runs batted in and a .300 batting average.
