Funeral services for John G. Dilges, 63, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at
the Salem Lutheran Church in Mt. Vernon with the Rev. Arthur Schardt officiating.
Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon cemetery. The body will Be in state at the Cazer Funeral
Home in Plankinton 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and at the church one hour prior to the service.
There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Dilges was born June 29, 1909 at Corsica to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dilges and died unexpectedly at his home near Mt. Vernon March 12. He married Lenora Erickson at Mt. Vernon.
Survivors include his widow; a son, Gary, Mt. Vernon; and a daughter Mrs. Janice Ross, Mt. Vernon; one brother Valentine, Culver City, Calif.; and two sisters, Lona Anderson, Dupree and Mary O'Niell, Wall.
He was preceded in death by four grandchildren.
