John Kirby Aldridge was a native of Hamburg, where he was born on August 6, 1890, the son of the late Covington King and Mary Anders Aldridge. He was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sophie Harrigill Aldridge; three brothers, D. C. Aldridge of Fayette, Frank B. Aldridge of Meadville and Homer K. Aldridge of Bude; three sisters, Mrs. Alex Bonds and Mrs. Virgil Freeman of Hamburg, and Mrs. H. E. Prather of Roxie; and two daughters, Mrs. Alvin Swaggart of Woodville and Mrs. James A. Shaffer of Midway Park, N. C.
