OBITUARY - Nannie Dae Skidmore McCartney, 89, died in Warren Rest Home, February 7, 1988. Mrs. McCartney was born September 1, 1898, a daughter of Jesse and Nancy Bright Skidmore in Newville, WV., Braxton Co. She was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple. She was the 8th child of a family of 11 children of Mr. and Mrs. Skidmore. She lived several years in WVa. Mrs. McCartney is survived by one daughter, Phyliss McCartney of Warren, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Skidmore Squires of Akron, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. Her Husband, Cletusi E. McCartney preceded her in death. Brothers and Sisters who preceded her in death were: Cam Skidmore, Cleve Skidmore, Russell Skidmore, Elizabeth Cutlip, Lona Ware, Walter Skidmore, Opal Ratliff, Percy Skidmore of Akron, and Ruth Green. Services were conducted by Rev. Paul D. Outland, Wednesday, February 10, 1988. Burial was in Rose Hill Burial Park, Akron, Ohio. Submitted by Bill Cutlip
