Pfc. Jeremy P. Faulkner, 23, of Griffin, Ga., died March 29 of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with small arms fire in Konar province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky. 'Remy' is survived by his mother and step-father, Judy and Tony Berry; father, Joel Faulkner; siblings, Kimberly Faulkner, Rheena Zuchowski, Joe Berry, Eric Berry, Lindsey Payton; grandparents, Nadine Faulkner, Martha and Billy Berry.
