CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Jerome F. "Jerry" Angerer, 70, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, August 30, 1998, at his home after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids by Rev. Steven Rosonke. Burial: 2:30 p.m. at St. Ann's Cemetery, Long Grove. A rosary will be recited Tuesday at Teahen Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids at 7 p.m., where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Survivors include his wife, Lois; two sons, Mark Angerer of Marion and Steve Angerer of Cedar Rapids; four daughters, Danette Angerer of Coralville, Susan Guy of Shoreview, MN, Anne Angerer of Cedar Rapids, and Jenifer Angerer of Iowa City; three brothers, Vincent Angerer of DeWitt, Warren Angerer of Silvis, IL, and Donald Angerer of Davenport; and two sisters, Gertrude Lucas of Davenport and Ida Wyatt of Phoenix, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters, and two daughters, Debra and Mary Michelle Angerer.

Born December 31, 1927, in Muscatine, he married Lois Blanche on January 12, 1952, in DeWitt. He was a Navy veteran. Jerry was a cement mason for most of his life, retiring in 1996.

A memorial fund has been established.
