Edith "Mae" Armrose, 84, of Manorville, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, in Armstrong County Health Center, surrounded by her family. She was born July 4, 1923, in Adrian, a daughter of the late McKinley and Stella (Ruffner) Wolfe. She was a retired laborer from PPG Industries in Ford City after 32 years of service. After retirement, she and her husband enjoyed traveling. She is survived by two brothers, Jacob Wolfe and his wife, Helen, and Raymond Wolfe and his wife, Phylis, both of Adrian; sister, Virginia (Wolfe) Roncher, of Adrian; two stepbrothers, Jerry Wolfe and Richard Wolfe, both of Butler; stepsister, Linda Black, of Butler; stepson, John Armrose and his wife, Betty, of Ohio; two stepdaughters, Andrea Wood, of Ohio, and Loretta Goodwin, of North Carolina; and many nieces, nephews and step grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Armrose, who died April 25, 1995; two brothers, John Wolfe and Audley "Zeke" Wolfe; three sisters, Mary Johns, Evelyn Toy and Dorothy Faulx; and stepbrother, Bill Wolfe. Friends will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Kittanning, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Nola Eisenbrandt officiating. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Mausoleum.
