BUTLER, GA- Graveside services for Lovick Pierce Anthony, 99, of Butler, will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm at Butler Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Anthony passed away on Friday, March 18, 2011 at his residence. He was born December 4, 1911 to the late Lovick Pierce Anthony and Kathleen Johnson Anthony. He had been a member of Butler United Methodist Church since 1932 and had formerly served as church treasurer. He was a retired letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service and was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Crawford and Kathleen and two brothers, John and Henry.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Wright Anthony of Butler; two sons, Lovick Pierce Anthony of Butler and Henry F. Anthony and wife Carol of Roswell; sister, Susan Anthony Wilson of Olathe, Kansas; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the residence: 539 Fall Line Freeway, Butler, GA 31006. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Butler United Methodist Church, PO Box 217, Butler, GA 31006.
