Mrs. Tullis was born in Dubuque county on April 24, 1874, and came to Plymouth county with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Burrill in 1883. She was married on January 30, 1900, to John Tullis. A few years ago her husband and their only daughter were burned to death in a fire which destroyed their home in South Dakota. Since their death she made her home in LeMars and Sioux City. She leaves four sons, George, Willis, Ralph and Arthur. The funeral will be held at Merrill on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and interment made at that place. Besides their own children, the brother and sister leave to mourn their death their father, G. W. Burrill, of this city, three brothers, George, of Fort Morgan, Colo., W. W. Burrill, of Akron, and Robert, of Sioux City, and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Urie, of Pocatello, Idaho, Mrs.W. P. Brown, of Woonsocket, S. D., Mrs. Nick Kern, Oregon City, Ore., Mrs. T. W. Hines (sic-Hinde), Forestburg, S. D., and Miss Emma Burrill, of LeMars.
