Edward Dingivan was a NY State Police officer assigned to President Roosevelt's estate in Hyde Park. He later joined the U.S. Air Force and became a pilot with the Eighth Air Force 447 Bomb Group. After his retirement from the Air Force he went on to become a Vice-President of National Air Carriers Association and later Vice-president in charge of public relations with Republic Airlines, later known as Northwest, and now known as Delta. His cremains are in a columbarium at the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum in Pooler, Ga.
