John was a son of Richard Wright & Hester Cooke.

He died without issue.

According to the Cooke Mayflower Silver book, John was born c. 1647 and he presumably died during the King Philip's War. His will was dated 7 Dec 1675 and proved 7 Jul 1676. The will was written as he ready to "goe forth to warr." He left legacies to his brothers - Adam, Isaac, and Samuel, his sisters - Esther and Mary, and his father, Richard Wright.
