Christine Araminta Sprenger Bonning, 55, died Sunday, July 20, 2008, at Bridgeview Estates in Twin Falls.
She was born July 24, 1952, in Gooding, the daughter of Herbert Clement Sprenger and Jessie May Shappee.
She is survived by her children, Robert Walter (Angela) Bonning of Meridian, Fredrick Paul Bonning of Jerome and Sabra May Bonning of Twin Falls; her mother, Jessie; and four siblings, Cory (Jennifer) Sprenger of Twin Falls, Laurie (Ron) Winkles of Caldwell, Karen (Dave) Walker of Twin Falls and Cherry (Elden) Heitz of Jerome. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert; and brother-in-law, David. She has five grandchildren and her special companion, Jim Conklin.
Christine graduated from Jerome High School and then moved to Hagerman. She married Robert G. Bonning, raising their three children together for the next 20 years. All of her children's friends always called her "Mom." She has such a sweet spirit, touching the lives of many people and was loved by all who knew her. She was a dedicated mom and grandma who loved the Lord. She will be missed greatly missed.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24, at the Living Waters Presbyterian Church, 821 E. Main in Wendell, with the Rev. Jim Keegan officiating. Arrangements are under the direction Hove-Robertson Funeral Chapel in Jerome.
