Louis Bastian, Farmer, Dies
Brillion Man to be Buried Tuesday Afternoon

Louis E. Bastian, 51, Brillion farmer, died in a Green Bay hospital Saturday morning of a ruptured appendix. He had been a patient at the hospital for about ten days.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock from the home and at 1:30 from the Brillion Methodist Church.

Born near Brillion in 1884, Mr. Bastian was married to Lydia Huebner, Brillion, in 1908. His widow survives. For six years he operated a cheese factory in Brillion and later moved to the farm where he made his home at the time of his death.

Survivors, besides Mrs. Bastian, include a daughter, Dolores, and a son, Marvin, both of Brillion; four brothers Henry, George and Philip of Brillion and Fred of Greenleaf; three sisters, Mrs. J.M. Wolfmeyer of Brillion, Mrs. Richard Huebner of Forest Junction and Mrs. William Wiese of Clintonville; and a grandchild.
