Thomas Wilfred Denetclaw, 78, of Crystal, passed from this life on Saturday, March 19, 2011, in Farmington. He was born Dec. 22, 1932, in Crystal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Palmer and Sarah Denetclaw; brother, Frank Denetclaw; sister, Evelyn Denetclaw and a grandson, Ryan Yazzie.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda (Daniel) Yazzie of Farmington; brother, Leon Denetclaw of Crystal; sisters, Joan (James) Kee, Mae Denetclaw and Lena Denetclaw, all of Crystal; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Crystal, immediately followed by funeral services at the same location. Hondo Louis will officiate.
Interment will be at the family cemetery in Crystal.
Pallbearers are Lance Yazzie, Alric Yazzie, James Kee Jr., Jasper Kee and Valentina Kady, assisted by Thomas' sisters, brothers, nephews, nieces and grandchildren.
Arrangements are with Desert View Funeral Home of Shiprock, North U.S. Hwy. 491, (505) 368-4607.
