Born December 2, 1928 in Morgan County, WV, he was the son of the late Nicola and Rosie Lee Keller Albanese.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Berkeley Springs.
He was a member of A.A.R.P.
He attended Berkeley Springs High School.
He served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army from December 14, 1950 until September 14, 1952.
He was a member of Alderton-Dawson American Legion Post #60, Risinger-Stotler V.F.W. Post #4019, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1483 and the Morgan County Saddle Club, all in Berkeley Springs.
He retired in 1987 as a screen tower operator from U.S. Silica, Berkeley Springs.
Surviving are his wife, Marie Martha Clem Albanese, at home; one son, Mark Richard Clem, Warrenton, VA; two grandchildren; three sisters, Marie E. Albanese, Arlington, VA, Virginia Luttrell, Winchester, VA, Delores Reed, Clear Spring, MD; one brother, Fred Albanese, Galion, OH and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Albanese and Frank Albanese.
Funeral liturgy was conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 116 S. Washington Street, Berkeley Springs, with Deacon John W. Locke officiating. Interment with military graveside honors proved by the Tri-State Honor Guard were in Greenway Cemetery, Berkeley Springs.
