Richard E. Agans, 53, of Decatur died 3 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 16, 1990) in his home.
Burial will be in Mount Gilead Cemetery.
Mr. Agans was born in Mount Sterling, son of Clifford and Fern Agans. He was a quality control manager at A.E.Staley Mfg. Co. He married Mary Ward in 1958.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Richard E. of Decatur; John M. and Martin D., both of Austin, Texas; daughters, Mrs. Donald (Margaret) Gollahon of Decatur; Carol Sue, at home; brothers, David of Meredosia; Ronnie of Garden City, Mo.; sisters, Mrs. Ed (Karen) of Creighton, Mo.; Shirley of Holts Summit, Mo.; five grandchildren.
One brother preceded him in death.
