Vern M. Evans, 85, of 3201 Ridgewood Avenue died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday morning.
Time of funeral services will be announced by the Ducro & Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Evans was born September 16, 1887 in Tipton, Indiana, the son of the late Harrison and Cora (Reeder) Evans.
Prior to his retirement, he worked for the True Temper Corp.
His survivors include one daughter; Mrs. Beila G. (Esther) Kovach, Conneaut; four sons; Davis L. Evans, at home, Norman E. Evans, Ashtabula, Paul W. Evans, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and William Evans, Eastlake; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lusetta, June 3, 1969.
