Carolyn S. Boushka was born Oct. 5, 1933 in Johnston City, Tennessee; a daughter of William Clarence and Ethel Mae Hogston Pickering. She married Clarence Scherff in 1956, in Peoria. He preceded her in death in Dec. 1995. She later married Delbert Boushka on Oct. 5, 1977. He also preceded her in death in Sept. 1990.
Survivors are a son, Robert Scherff; a daughter, Linda Cathcart; four brothers, William (Helen), Stanley (Helen), Joseph (Joyce) and Thomas( Kathie); two sisters, Patricia (David) Schell and Jennie (Richard) Meredith; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
