Graveside services for Alene A. Buff, 93, Flippin, Arkansas and formerly of West Plains, will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery near Olden, Missouri under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mrs. Buff died 11:50 p.m., Friday, November 13, 2009 at Twin Lakes Nursing Center, Flippin, Arkansas.
She was born April 5, 1916 at Grimmet, Missouri to William Frank and Mary Adella Mory Anderson. On January 9, 1936, she was married at Grimmet, Missouri to Arch Martin Buff who preceded her in death on December 23, 1962.
After twenty years of employment, Mrs. Buff retired from the International Shoe Company of West Plains; also, she retired as a mail clerk with the United States Postal Service. Mrs. Buff enjoyed taking care of her family and friends. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two sons, Steve Buff, wife, Betty, Lakeview, Arkansas and Kenneth Buff, wife, Mary, St. Charles, Missouri; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, daughter, Ann Fox, grandson, Scott Buff, six brothers and two sisters precede her in death. Visitation will be from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Cemetery, Olden, Missouri and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
