Died - Mr. Remer Barnes, on Tuesday, of cancer. He leaves a wife and several children.

His brother Greenberry left in his will, in 1891 instructions to build a graveyard where his brother Reamer is buried, 200 yards from his house and mill. Reamer's body was originally buried at the Barnes/now Akins Mill in Bulloch County (called the Barnes/Akin Cemetery) and was either moved later to Eastside or his wife added his name to her tombstone.
