Dollie Croft Barnes, age 83. Born May 6, 1927, in Bulloch Co., GA. Moved to Savannah, GA in 1950, where she was a loving, caring, supportive wife and mother to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her greatest loves were her family, cooking and gardening.

Dollie is preceded in death by her parents Hubie & Zebie Croft, her husband James H. Barnes and grandson D. Scot Trussell, four sisters and two brothers, two son's-in-law, Curt Avery and James Trussell.

She is survived by her three daughters, Linda Trussell, Shirley Polychrones (James) and Joyce Avery (Phil Hope), all of Savannah, GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stacy & Nicholas Hale, Toby & Lisa Polychrones and Bryan & Kinsey Polychrones. Great grandmother of William & Henry Hale and Caroline & Lexi Polychrones.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church or Hospice of Savannah.

Graveside Service: Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the East Side Cemetery, Statesboro, GA.
