Mrs. Helen F. Babb, 81, of Madisonville, KY died at 2:05 A.M. Thursday, December 16, 2004 at the Regional Medical Center.
Born May 13, 1923 in Mortons Gap, KY she was the daughter of the late John Taylor Wicks and Amy Boyd Wicks. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Wicks and Lewis B. Wicks and one sister, Thelma Frost.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Madison Ave. Holiness Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Franklin Babb of Madisonville; one son, Paul Poole of Madisonville; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 18, 2004 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. George Furgerson and Bro. Billy Vincent officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Vernon Almon, David Poole, Jeff McVay, Roger Fuller, Chet Fuller and Wayne Tapp.
Friends may call from 4:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday and after 8:00 A.M. Saturday until the service at the funeral home.
