Milton was born Sept. 25, 1930, in Nashville, Tenn., the son of Wiley Parminter and Blanche Harper Dismukes.

Milton was employed as a smoker for the Davenport Fish Company for several years and was also self-employed as a painter and maintenance man. He was in the U.S. Navy and received the Korean Service Medal and the Navy Occupations Medal. He served on the USS Seminole (AKA-104). He loved the casinos, cards and animals. He was a "perfectionist."

Survivors include Carol J. Gross-Gardner and Leslie R. Gardner who were his adopted family and his special caregiver, Angie "O" -- our love goes with him. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A special thanks to the Hospice Pathway and Dr. Garneau and all the wonderful people at the Cancer Center -- 7th Street Campus.
