A retired cook, she died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City. She was 74. Visiting at Hall Davis & Son Funeral Service, Port Allen, on Friday, March 18, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Visiting at Christ Baptist Church, Port Allen, on Saturday from noon until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Dr. Phillip Joseph. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by her daughters, Carolyn Williams, Wanda Williams, Joyce Williams and Deidre W. Daniels, all of Port Allen, and Kathy W. Pierson, of Baker; sons, Michael Williams Sr., Alsen, Eric Williams and Charles Williams, both of Baton Rouge, and Kevin Williams, Zachary; sister, Dorothy W. Harrell, Port Allen; brothers, Leon Cobbs, Brusly, and Murphy Cobbs, Baton Rouge; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the staffs of Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City emergency room and CICU.
