Robert Byrum, 76, of Atkins, died Sunday, March 13, 2011, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.
He was born February 22, 1935, in Russellville and was the son of the late James Earl and Gladys Marie Coffman Byrum. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He continued to serve in law enforcement for 35 years. He was a member of Happy Valley Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Marjean Hotopp Byrum of Atkins; five children, Jeff (Linda) Byrum of De Kalb, IL, Cynthia Mason of St. Charles, IL, Michael Byrum of St. Charles, IL, Shelly (Mike) Boney of Wabeno, WI, and Julie (Chip) Ehlers of Little Chute, WI; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Earl Dean Byrum, Stevie Byrum, James Byrum and a sister, Martha Ann Lenhart.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 16, 2011, at Happy Valley Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Henry Bateman and the Rev. Michael Burden officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in Shady Grove Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service.
