Services for Alice I. Barga, 78, Piqua, Ohio, were held this morning in Salmonia with the Rev. Michael Milthalter officiating.
Barga, a native of Jay County, died early Tuesday at Piqua Manor Nursing Home.
Born in Salamonia on Feb. 10, 1926, she was the daughter of Thomas and Della (Kile) Mooney.
She graduated from Madison High School in 1944 and on July 27, 1946, married Elden J. "Bud" Barga. He died on Oct. 15, 2003.
For more than 26 years, she worked at Eldora Speedway, Rossburg, Ohio.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Bonnie) Williams and Mrs. Maurice (Rebecca) Ary, both of Piqua; a son, Joseph E. Barga, St. Paris, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Residents Activity Fund, Piqua Manor Nursing Home, 1840 W. High St., Piqua, Ohio 45356.
