Albert L. Blose passes away in his 84th year

Albert L. Blose, retited farmer and one of the most respected citizens of Washington township, died Thursday morning of last week, at his home near Slatedale. He was in his 84th year and his death was due to general debility. Up until his retirement a number of years ago Mr. Blose was successful as a farmer in the community where he resided.

Mr. Blose was preceded in death by his wife, Timanda (nee Moyer) six years ago. He is survived by three children: Lewis Blose and Mrs. Lizzie Rex, of Slatington R3, Richard Blose at home; a half-brother, Wilson Rex, justice of the peace, Slatedale. Twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survive. He was a member of Star Lodge Council, No. 68, F. P. A., of town.

The funeral was held from his late home, near Slatedale, Slatington R 2, on Sunday at 1:30 pm. Services were conducted at the house by Rev. Robert J. Urffer, pastor of the Freidens Reformed charge. Interment was made in Slatedale cemetery.
