FORT WORTH -- JoAnn Hicks Bryant, 67, passed away Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Burial: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Biggers Funeral Home.

She was born Feb. 20, 1937, to Aubrey and Berniece Hicks. She lived her entire life in the Fort Worth area and was a member of Chapel Fellowship Church in Saginaw.

After graduation from Lake Worth High School and Brantley Draughan Business College, she served many years as the executive secretary of Stationers Distributing Co. until her retirement.

Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her husband, Dutch M. Bryant, and her parents.

The family extends appreciation and heart-felt thanks to Vitas Hospice of Baylor-All Saints Hospital for its kind and gracious care during this past week.

Survivors: Son, Dutch Alan Bryant and his wife, Diane, of Keller; daughter, Angela Waugh and her husband, Ernie, of Weatherford; she was the proud grandmother of Paden and Derek Bryant; brother, Thomas E. Hicks and his wife, Sharon, of Azle; niece, Christina Hicks of New York City, N.Y.; and stepgrandchildren, Christopher, Kevin, Brandy and Shelly. She will also be missed dearly by a host of other relatives and friends.
