Mrs. Mary P. "Pat" Chudzynski, 63, of 1910 Indiana Ave., LaPorte, died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at 4:49 p.m. at LaPorte Hospital.
She was born Feb. 9, 1942, in LaPorte to Francis and Roma (Wolfenbarger) McDermott, and had lived all her life in LaPorte.
Mrs. Chudzynski was a homemaker and was also owner and operator of Balloons Unlimited in the 1980s. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, LaPorte.
On Aug. 21, 1965, in LaPorte, she married James R. Chudzynski, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Cynthia (Steven) Foss of Michigan City and Victoria (Michael) Gits of Brentwood, Calif.; and six grandchildren, Luva, Liam and Lilly Foss and Madison, Michaela and Mitchell Gits.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church with Rev. George Vrabely officiating. Friends may call at Essling Funeral Home, LaPorte, Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 4 p.m.; and Wednesday from 8 to 9 a.m. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte.
