Robert Anderson age 85, of Rensselaer, IN passed away on Sunday February 6, 2011 at Jasper County Hospital, Rensselaer, IN.
He was born on July 29, 1925 in Chicago, IL to Bertha (Goldberg) and John Einar Anderson, both deceased. Robert was a graduate of DeMotte High School, then went on to served in the US Navy and was a contractor at Anderson Builders and had also worked at Van Keppels. He was a member of the DeMotte American Legion Post 440 and DeMotte United Methodist Church.
In 1947 he married Mary Taylor who passed away on January 30, 2006.
Robert is survived by his children; Edward Robert Anderson, Rensselaer, IN; Robert Joseph Anderson, Detroit, MI: William Roy Anderson, Ft. Wayne, IN; Michael Kenneth (Cheryl) Anderson, DeMotte, IN and Rose Anderson, Bloomington, IN. 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary, 1 grandson & 1 granddaughter & 3 sisters.
