John R. Avolio, 43, of 120 Fourth St., Monaca, died Friday morning, Dec. 5, 1986, in Aliquippa Hospital.
Born May 12, 1943, in Monaca, son of Hazel Clark Avolio, Monaca, and the late Ralph Avolio, he was a transporter for Hertz Rent-A-Car, Moon Township; a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Monaca, and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in Vietnam.
Surviving in addition to his mother, are his wife, Linda Bartimac Avolio; a daughter, Renee Lynn Avolio, at home; two brothers, Ralph Avolio, Denver, Colo., and Tom Avolio, Beaver Falls, and a sister, Mrs. John (Karen) Troiano, Las Vegas, Nev.
Friends will be received today from 3 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in BATCHELOR'S MONACA,998 Atlantic Ave., where a blessing will be held Monday at 10 a.m. followed by interment in St. Johns Catholic Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Monaca.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at10 a.m. in St. Johns Roman Catholic Church.
