Mrs. Rosa Lee Bailey, 81, widow of Robert L. Bailey, of 10 W. Chestnut St., Funkstown, died at the Washington County Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Funkstown, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Susan (Bowman) Wolfe. She was the last surviving member of her family. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Funkstown, a member of the Juanita Council No. 16 and the Golden Star Council No. 25, both of Hagerstown.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Anna Lee Row, at home; Mrs. R. Paul Reynolds and Mrs. Ralph Shipley, of Funkstown, and Mrs. F. Taylor Grimm, Bethesda; sons, Clyde, Hagerstown; R. Preston and Richard; at home; Harold and Guy, of Hagerstown, Leon and Charles, Funkstown; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in the Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro, Monday at 2 pm., the Rev. Donald Brake officiating. Burial will be in the Funkstown Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
