Hemingway, Nov 25 - Mrs Josephine Huggins Cox, 79, died at 12:35 am Monday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rufus Eaddy here after a heart attack. Funeral services will be held from Rehobeth Pentecostal Holiness Church at 10:30 am Wednesday morning conducted by the Rev. M. O. Cannon, pastor, assisted by the Rev. B. P. Robinson, Supt. of the SC Conference, the Rev. Blease Edwards pastor of the Andrews Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Rev. H. J. Bennett, pastor of the Hemingway Methodist Church.Burial, directed by the Morris Funeral Home, will follow in the Eaddy Ford Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons as follows: Samuel Cox, Cortez Cox, Charles Cox, Crafton Eaddy, James Carter and Wilson Hardee. Honorary bearers will be her nephews. Mrs. Cox was the daughter of the late John "S. and Isabelle Hughes Huggins of near Hemingway where she was born and spent her entire lifetime. She was a member of the Women's Auxillary of the church and a teacher of the Intermediate Sunday School Class for many years. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Rufus Eaddy, Mrs. Luther Hardee, Mrs D. L. Carter, all of Hemingway. Mrs. Eugene Myers of Colorado Springs, Colo.: Six sons, W. C. Cox, William S. Cox, Thea W. Cox, Marvin C. Cox, A. A. Cox, B,. A. Cox, all of Hemingway, two sisters, Mrs. Alice Rogers of Charleston and Mrs Ebbie Cribb of Hemingway. Two brothers, Jack Huggins and Albert Huggins of Hemingway, also her stepmother, Mrs Martha Huggins of Hemingway, two half sisters, Leila Mae Sessions of Georgetown, Mrs Johnnie Mabel Cook of St. George: a half brother Marion Huggins of Moncks Corner; also 49 grandchildren, 75 great grand-children and 2 great-great grandchildren.
