Services for James E. Adams, 58, 1305 South Worth Avenue, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Conkle Lyndhurst Funeral Home, with burial in Floral Park Cemetery.
He died Thursday in St. Vincent Hospital. Born at Winchester, Ky., Mr. Adams lived in Indianapolis 35 years.
He was employed at Consolidated Rail Corp. 33 years. Mr. Adams was president of the Brotherhood of Railway and Airline Clerks Local 1229, and president of Armadillo Flates Citizaens Band Radio Club. He was a pst master of Lyndhurst Masonic Lodge, and a past patron of the Lyndhurst Chapel of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors includes his wife, Mrs. Lillie Adams; two sons, James E. Adams, Jr. of Baltimore, Md., and W. Leroy Adams of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Christian of Indianapolis, and his mother, Mrs. Mary Jane Castle of Pine Ridge, Ky.
