Dear beloved and highly essteemed friend with pleasure I take in using this oppertunity in answer to your most kind & welcome letter I receved to Day which I was truly glad to hear. (?) your letter found me well and enjoying life well. I went to a picnec to Day & had a nice time thire was a great many people thire but thay was nearly all strange to me I at tend Sabbeth School every Sunday we have a very nice time but it is not like it was a Bashams I have but little to do with the girls out heare i am very chois & have no chois heare
miss mattie you Said you went to Mt Pisigha the other Sunday & Seen a nice time you Said my sweetheart was thire miss Sue P I have told you often that miss Sue & I had quit Some time a go & I ment just what I Said. You are the only girl I am writing to & I hope you will prove true to me I have all ways tryed to prove true to you I want you to tell me if your ps & ma knows that you & I is writing to each other that is the reson I never have Sined my name to my letters because I was a fraid that thay would a buse you if thay knew it I don't know what thay have a gaints me miss mattie you Said you did not under Stand the note I wrote to you be fore I left thire I wrote you the note & Sent it by ruf Subert & he told me that he give it to you the Same Day I give it to him I wrote to you that a Surtain woman told me that She heard you Say that you made me quit comeing to your house the reson I did it was because I was a fraid that you was trying to expose me I want to ask you a qustion but I am a fraid that it will be a hard one with you I want to know if Frink Brothers is writing to you or not please parden me for asking you Such gustions I hope you will give the correct answer on the Subject.
