Larry U. Abegglen, age 76, died August 27, 1992.
Born February 3, 1916 in Lapoint, Utah to Lorenz and Edlean Clark Abegglen. Married Wilma Peggy Thompson, she died in July 1967. Married Ardith Morrill, January 13, 1969 in Salt Lake City. He was a self employed saddle maker and general contractor. Active member of the LDS Church.
Survived by wife, Ardith, children: Ron, of Ogden; Jim, of Vernal; Mrs. Larry (Lanna) Arnold, Sedrowooley, Wash.; step children: Robert McClellan, Kansas City, Missouri; Mrs. Deareld (Valerie) Rich, Morgan, Utah; Brad McClellan, Vernal; Gary McClellan, Vernal; Jeffrey McClelland, Durham, N.C.; Clark McClellan, Salt Lake; 35 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, brother, Clark, sisters: Lena Mast, Verna Karren, Gladys Soderquist, Birdie Abegglen, all of Vernal; Kathryn Hauptfleisch, Salt Lake.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 31, 11 a.m. at the Maeser Stake Center. Friends may call Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Hullinger-Jolley Funeral Home and on Monday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Vernal Memorial Park.
