Father of nine children. He was a PFC in the Army during WW II from March 3, 1943 to Nov 25, 1945. He served in Operation Red Dog that landed on Omaha Beach in Normandy on "D" Day. He was in the 3rd. Squad, 3rd Platoon - "L" Company, 115th. Infantry, 29th. Division.

His unit was at Nu Chateau, France a short way from the Valley of Joan of Arc while they waited to engage at the Battle of the Bulge.

He received two Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart, among other Decorations and Citations. Information obtained from Military Records, and the actual medals I have.

This is my father he is buried with his wife (my mother) Edith L. (nee Weinberger) Grady. Together, they had nine children.
