McCORMICK > Sally Reynolds McCormick, 86, died peacefully at her home on September 28, 2009 in Jacksonville after an extended illness.

Born in Patterson, Georgia, she was a longtime resident of Jacksonville and a member of the North Jacksonville Baptist Church for over 60 years. Throughout her lifetime, she was a floral designer, once owning her own shop. She worked for many years at Petersons 5+10 in their floral design area.

She is preceded in death by her son, Robert Reynolds and her beloved husband, Jesse E. Reynolds.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Faye Cason, her son, Edward J. Reynolds (Paulette), grandchildren, Cheryl W. Mock (Rex), Teresa L. Peel (Mark), Daryl W. Burnett (Kelly), James E. Reynolds (Kim), seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South on Wednesday, September 30 from 6 to 8PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1, at 10AM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home. Followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery.

Officiates will be Dr. Herb Reavis, Jr. of North Jacksonville Baptist Church and Reverend Jerry Sweat, beloved nephew and Senior Pastor of Beach United Methodist Church.
