Age 90, of Salisbury, MD, and formerly of Pennsville, NJ, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.

She was born in Delmar July 1, 1920, a daughter of the late Harley J. and Susie Blanche (Phillips) Bailey. After many years of service, Doris retired from E.I. DuPont in Seaford where she worked in spinning and later as a lab inspector. She loved to travel and experience golf in many other countries. She is remembered as a wonderful dancer, and as a product of her era, the jitterbug being her favorite. Doris was a lifetime philanthropist who always supported many worthy organizations.
