Born Jan. 28, 1912, in Greenwood Township, she was a daughter of the late Emmett and Sarah (Willow) Dressler. Her husband, Charles Ray Fultz, whom she married March 2, 1928, preceded her in death on Sept. 15, 1989.
Surviving are: children, Marvin R. Fultz and wife Phyllis, McAlisterville, Eugene A. Fultz, RR2, Millerstown, Larry L. Fultz and wife Bonnie K., RR2 Millerstown, Minnie M. Good-ling, RR1, Mt. Pleasant Mills, and Darlene K. Straub and husband Marlin C., Middleburg; 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; and three generations of nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family, being preceded in death by brothers, Emmett, Gerald, and Clarence Dressler, a step-brother, Calvin C. Arnold, and a sister, Anna Losch. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Pauline Fultz, in childhood; and a great-grandson, Andy Messimer, in infancy.
She was educated at th East Salem Grammar schoolhouse. She was employed as a foster grandparent at the Selingsgrove Center for five years. Previously she was employed for various factories and canneries. She was also employed at Meugels Nursing Home in Richfield. She was a former member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, RR2, Millerstown. She was also a former member of the Richfield Ambulance League. She loved her family and enjoyed socializing on the telephone, reading the newspaper in its entirety, gardening and crocheting.
A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the George P. Garman Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant Mills, with the Rev. Brittin F. Stimeling officiating. Interment was in the Whiteland Cemetery, RR1, Thompsontown Family and friends gathered for the viewing 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
