Mr. Blanch was born 25 Sept 1900, in West Weber, a son of Christian C. and Annie Elizabeth Blanch.
He was married to Gwendolyn Hatch on Nov. 29, 1922, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He had been a carman for the Union Pacific Railroad for 46 years.
He served a Granite LDS Stake Mission.
Surviving are his widow; the following sons and daughters: Dr. Evan T. Blanch, Winchester, Mass.; George Blanch, Marsden Blanch, both of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Virgil (Beverly B.) Weatherford, Woodland Hills, Calif.; Mrs. John K. (Alice B.) O'Driscoll, Kearns; Mrs. Shauna B. Sovereen, Murray, Mrs. William R. (Paula B.) Mower, Midvale, 30 grandchildren.
Also surviving are the following sister and brothers: Mrs. Sarah M. White, Plain City, Mrs. Mable H. Winter, Ogden; Mrs. Annie Johnansen, Huntsville; Willard R. Blanch, Leonard E. Blanch, both of West Weber; A. Roy Blanch, Novato, Calif.
Funeral services willbe Friday at 12 noon in the Nibley Park LDS Ward Chapel, 2450 6th E.
Friends may call at 360 E. 7th S. Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the ward chapel Friday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Bountiful Cemetery.
